About

HydrogenCMS is a simple page management application build using asp.net mvc, and references from awesome web apps like BlogEngine and Kigg, to name a few.  (If you haven't checked these open source applications out, you are missing out.)  And, in all actuality, BlogEngine could do everything this system can do, and, in most cases, better.  And, with the planned enhancements to the page model in BlogEngine, it should cover everything.  But, they are using different technologies (linq, mvc), so even if you don't use Hydrogen as your web site, it still has some value as a reference application.

HydrogenCMS started out, and to some extent, is still an experiment using some new techniques and the asp.net mvc framework.  It still has a way to go, but it is usable in its current form.  You may need to do some enhancements on the the navigation and what not until those things get ironed out, but overall, it is a decent reference.  And, as time goes on, it will only get better.

This application was written by Jesse Foster | jf26028 from GravityCube with inspiration from Adam Zastawski and Jason Lay.  If you have any enhancements or suggestions, I'll put your name here, too.

This site serves as a demo of the application, and the source can be downloaded from the Codeplex site.
